As far as I know, the majority of younger people and people with no other health issues shouldn’t have any serious complications from covid-19. They may experience mild symptoms like fever or cough, similar to if they had a flu. But they may become affected by the virus in other ways. As the virus spreads around the world, more and more countries are starting to close schools and businesses. People are not able to travel or do their work and we may all soon see effects in our lives. Many people will lose money because of it if they have a business or their job may be in danger, they may have to cancel their holidays or their relatives may be affected. We may even start to see some difference in the products that we can buy in the shops – some things may become harder to buy or cost more money. So in a way, coronavirus will affect all of us.
Natalia is right – it won’t affect everyone’s health in the same way, but it will certainly affect our lives. One thing to remember is that, even if you are very healthy, you should still be careful about washing your hands and staying home if you get ill. The virus is more dangerous for people who are older or do have other health problems, so being careful is one way you can help them – that way, you can avoid passing the virus on to someone who will have more trouble with it.
