      I have quite a few favourite animals! I like cats and dogs and horses, but I also like jellyfish and frogs and sea slugs. I have always liked invertebrates (animals without a backbone). People sometimes think they are slimy and gross, but the truth is that they live fascinating lives and they can be very beautiful!

      Ever since I went to Australia, my favourite animal became the yellow-crested cockatoo. It’s a species of parrot – there are many amazing parrots in Australia and it’s so much fun to sit on the balcony and have them fly up and steal food from the table! The cockatoos are my favourite because they’re super cute, funny and clever at the same time. They can even learn to speak! When they get annoyed, the feathers on their head stand up and they look like rock stars!
