      I just turned 34 years old. The first time I got to help in a real science lab, I was 15 years old – but I must have liked it a lot, because I’m still doing science nearly 20 years later!

      I’ve just turned 30. I started university when I was 19 but it took me nearly 9 years to finish both my degrees!

      I just turned 27 years old. If I get my PhD this year, this leaves me at 21 years as a student!
