      If you can really stop it, it still depends on many factors such as the effectiveness of the interventions, the host conditions, the resources and the pathogen itself. There are other external factors which may influence as well e.g. climate, temperature, host behavior, social status and politics! Remember that it takes a long time to stop a disease spreading. SARS – 10 months, Ebola last case got discharged in DRC last week, 20 months.
