• Question: How do exotic diseases spread? Do they spread differently compared to disease like the flu?

      The term ‘exotic’ means unusual and exciting because of coming from far away. So exotic diseases are diseases that come from somewhere else and often we know little about them. Also the population may not have immunity to such diseases therefore it can be severe when there is an outbreak. They vary how they spread, not always airborne of course. A good example of one exotic disease is Ebola…pretty scary.
